Because I’m actually here to help.
I like to dive to the centre of your problem and unpack from there. My experience comes from years at work in the real world, so any advice is accurate and totally impartial.
I provide all of my services in-house; from engineering to events rigging, traffic management to touch-ups – all warranted, and fully insured with included cover.
And should your project encounter unexpected ‘force-majeure’ – like transport delays, last-minute site changes, or anything in-between – we’ll deal with the situation together.
If your lift is bespoke, intricate, or too important to get wrong… that’s where I thrive.
-
Every task is priced individually, but you can check out some guide pricing here. To get a bespoke quote for your project, just say hello.
Once I’ve received your enquiry, we’ll arrange a video call for chat through the task at hand, and carry out a remote survey. Starting with all this detail helps me quickly build an accurate scope to price from, and a clear + workable method.
Standalone tasks can be fixed-fee or time-based depending on your preference; while larger projects will typically use a fixed-fee contract with transparent day rates + expenses.
-
Typically, not a lot – I support my clients with a range of in-house engineering services: temporary works, finite-element analysis (FEA), LiDAR surveys and traffic management; as well as events rigging, enabling works and touch-ups.
Everything I do is warranted, and your goods are fully insured with included cover.
If something extra is needed I’ll make this clear, and if you don’t already have a supplier in place I’ll introduce you to trusted partners directly – meaning no mark-ups or commissions.
-
Good practice travels, so I’m happy to work wherever your project is.
As Ocicat, I have been involved with work in the UK, across Europe, and the heart of Africa.
-
Yes – even if it’s not with my documentation / templates, you can have a trusted ‘Blue Card’ CPCS A61 Appointed Person (AP) working on your behalf - from the office or on-site. Experienced in crane / HIAB / lorry loader lifting, plant movement + handling, and helicopter lifts.
AP Services are available for on-site / project support, quotes, LiDAR & Matterport, all types of site surveys, lift planning, and overseeing BS7121 Complex lifts.

Yes, very. My standard covers range between £5M–15M depending on activity & scope.
Bespoke lifting insurance quotes can be arranged for higher-risk / irreplaceable items.
-
Weather, delays and unexpected problems are a natural part of lifting, so don’t worry.
Where I can, I’ll recognise patterns and engineer issues away before they occur. We’ll manage developing situations together, to minimise any potential for cost or social media impact.
And we’ll agree next steps in advance – so that no-one’s left out to dry if the plan has to change
-
I provide bespoke training for safety (lifting awareness, competency assessments, Advanced AP + more) and for software (AutoCAD, LiDAR, Blender, ARKit + more).
Have a look at the calculator or reach out to me directly, and we’ll tailor some sessions that work for you.
-
No, I don’t own heavy plant. (Here’s why.)
If you’re in a bind, I can suggest trusted partners who will be able to assist.
Please reach out and I’ll put you in touch ASAP!
-
I’ll always try to help, even if time isn’t on your side, so feel free to ask the question.
1-5 working days for most tasks is ideal, though emergency works can sometimes be accommodated.
As some projects can have lead-times outside my control – sometimes over 10 weeks if a road closure or infrastructure permit is needed – we’ll both benefit from as much notice as possible.
-
Yes. I want to help.
I care about every lift being safe. When it’s for a good cause, this only matters more, but often your choices are compromised if you want to make anything happen at all.
If you represent a charity or non-profit and need support with a project, please reach out. I’ll help in a way that fits your needs, while making sure the job gets done properly.
My focus never changes – safe lifting and handling; backed by the same planning, cover, and guarantees I deliver for every client.
